Peace cannot be found because it is not within the hearts and minds of any of the members of the Tatmadaw Institutioin. They have been brought up as Buddhists, but trained as believers of the institution’s ideology or doctrine ,” We have to do what we have to do, including violence, terror, human rights violations and killing off any opposition like the ancient Burmese Kings” In the name of security and stability they themselves created, the members of the Institution think they have the absolute right to do anything they want. Peace will come to Burma only when the Generals find peace within themselves, that is when they come to realise that their Institutional doctrine or method they have used against other ethnic nationalities for the last five or six years is contradictory to Buddhism. There are other similar organisations exist in the present world, but it doesn’t mean that the Tatmadaw Institution should be excluded because they are in a different and more powerful situation.
